| Jon Michnovicz, M.D., Ph.D. has dedicated his career as both a physician and biomedical researcher
to preventive and developmental medicine. As the president of The Foundation for Preventive Oncology, Inc.,
Dr. Michnovicz supervises and conducts research into the interactions of diet, lifestyle, hormones and
cancer. In the field of developmental disabilities, Dr. Michnovicz serves
as Medical Director of the Center for Specialty Therapy of Young Adult
Institute/National
Institute for People with Disabilities. He also serves as Assistant Medical
Director
at United Cerebral Palsy of NYC, and Medical Director at HeartShare Human Services of New York.
In April, 2002, Dr. Michnovicz was awarded a grant from the Susan G.
Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for a project entitled, "UCP/NYC's Breast
Health Project for Women with Disabilities."
